I think that is what I will use.
Everyone was very thin - I guess it just shows the terrible things access to unlimited processed and junk food has done to us. I think we have lost the ability to eat just enough, just what we actually need, and not extra.Tiny Toadstool Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03741553266633373902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-51756113764235586882017-02-15T12:39:35.984+11:002017-02-15T12:39:35.984+11:00I love the transfers - I certainly won't be us...I love the transfers - I certainly won't be using them! The blue yarn is gorgeous. I started a previous vintage jumper in that yarn but lost the pattern and had to undo it.
I use Tasha's resizing tutorials for vintage patterns. Very in-depth.
http://bygumbygolly.com/tag/resizing-knitting-patterns/
Tiny Toadstool Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03741553266633373902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-47692332132612512642017-02-15T12:35:53.923+11:002017-02-15T12:35:53.923+11:00I know - totally amazing that the transfers are st...I know - totally amazing that the transfers are still intact! The suit is just gorgeous, but would make me look like a dumpling, I'm afraid! I'm just not tall enough. I love looking at your vintage stitchcraft mag posts. Everyone was so thin and small in the 1930's weren't they.....or so it seems.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14782099930159071920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-31318050270766979022017-02-14T13:28:41.453+11:002017-02-14T13:28:41.453+11:00I just love the nostalgia of iron on transfers. I would knit a swatch of rib to see how it looks. I am plus size and definitely wouldn't fit vintage patterns. Maybe you could give a tutorial on resizing when you get it mastered.Therese Bizabishakahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09708802827316065462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-3687431529939908982017-02-14T07:38:37.236+11:002017-02-14T07:38:37.236+11:00So lucky you have the old transfers! I think variegated yarn will be a nice twist on a vintage pattern.Zenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16373747863822737468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-23822662560553638202017-02-13T08:36:00.599+11:002017-02-13T08:36:00.599+11:00Thanks!
