So I thought this would help me keep to a planting schedule. I have never grown cauliflower before but the seeds germinated very quickly. Hopefully I will be able to grow them all the way to a cauliflower as they are super expensive here.Tiny Toadstool Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03741553266633373902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-69602552978750545232017-03-25T23:32:18.398+11:002017-03-25T23:32:18.398+11:00My family loves it. I thought I might use my ever abundant supply of toilet rolls. I've also thought of planting cauliflower and peas. I don't think there is any benefit to dwarf, except that you won't get as much! Not everyone likes kale! They will be fine out in the open at the moment. When I say I have planted them in the greenhouse, I don't have the cover on yet, so it is just open shelves. Kale needs some cold weather.
Tiny Toadstool Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03741553266633373902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-66517244234190656372017-03-24T08:25:25.498+11:002017-03-24T08:25:25.498+11:00Lucky you getting our own copy. Also is it best to plant seed directly or plant seedlings? I want to have a go at growing my own seedlings but. Don't have a greenhouse and struggle to think of a suitable place in the house.Therese Bizabishakahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09708802827316065462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-56316756794904615352017-03-23T21:28:25.397+11:002017-03-23T21:28:25.397+11:00I love when spring starts to arrive. Hope your gardening goes well!
Tiny Toadstool Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03741553266633373902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7644081471881436580.post-33971734505510399282017-03-23T19:54:53.640+11:002017-03-23T19:54:53.640+11:00I'm getting that seasonal spring driven urge t...I'm getting that seasonal spring driven urge to plant and sow. The weather has been cold and miserable and I am having to bide my time. In the past I have sown to early or planted out too soon and the cold soil or damp conditions just kill everything off! That and the voracious appetite of our local slugs! Still, this year I am determined to get my potager and garden back up to speedâș seeing what you have been getting up to certainly fires up the enthusiasm! kjsutcliffehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02064786032612487652noreply@blogger.com
