Linking to Ginny at Small Things for this week's Yarn Along.
A parking meter cosy (of course!), using the pattern Saxon Braid from Barbara Walker's Treasury of Stitches. All the parking meters in the main street of Hamilton, Victoria, will have knitted cosies as part of Woolly West Fest in July/August. Very exciting to see knitting showcased like this!
I am currently reading The Spymistress by Jennifer Chiaverini. Having read all her quilt books, I was interested to read her historical novels as well. I have already read Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker and loved it; this is shaping up to be just as good.
Ha! I had to read that twice " a parking meter cosy" - I love it! Hope you will share a photo of your finished cosy in doing it's job.

Thanks Caz, The whole concept is super fun. We are doing all sorts of things around town, including full size knitted/crocheted/felted sheep and yarn bombing the towns all around. Can't wait to see it all come together - it will be a great showcase for wool!
