Now that paddock is flooded down below, with an actual river of water running through it and there is plenty of deep water! The rain dance worked!
We have had record amounts of rain and there are floods everywhere - with more rain on the way.
Our waterfalls, Wannon Falls and Nigretta Falls are looking, and sounding, amazing.

It is great to have all the rain; it would just be wonderful if it could be spaced out a little bit!

It seems the weather is being kinder to us down here than where you are, Jayne. Floods cause so much damage. Those falls are wonderful. I hope the waters don't go near your home.
ReplyDeleteSome houses in town were evacuated today after still more rain last night. It will take a while for it all to drain away.

ReplyDeleteLuckily we are on high ground, so the house is safe. Just our lower paddocks are flooded.
DeleteOh my gosh! Glad you are on higher ground are you able to get supplies from the shops though? Are you pretty good. Has the floods drained away quickly?
ReplyDeleteThere are only certain streets in town that are flooded, so no real problem with access. The river is still quite high though.
