I think there is some good reading for cold winter's nights here.
My fiction selection includes:
All of these books have been recommendations from fellow Yarn Along bloggers and I am looking forward to them.
And some non-fiction that grabbed my eye.
- Knitting Everyday Finery by Mel Clark - really love the Everyday Cardigan and the Mrs Lovechild's Shawl on the front cover.
- The New Kitchen Garden by Mark Diacono - this is subtitled 'How to grow some of what you eat, no matter where you live.' Looks really great.
- My Cool Allotment by Lia Leendertz - lots of gorgeous photos for ideas.
- The Art of Eating Through The Zombie Apocalypse by Lauren Wilson - funny look at prepping, but still really useful. Great recipes and foraging and hunting tips.
Are you reading anything enjoyable at the moment?
Tomorrow we are off to another town about an hour and a half drive away to look at a car for Miss Ballerina. Another child of mine will soon be on the roads! They grow up so fast. It is such a cliche, but so true.
It is a long weekend (Queen's Birthday) here as well, so Monday off for everyone.
Have a lovely weekend all!
