FOs for Friday

Some more needle felting this week as it was so much fun to do. I think I have a new obsession for the moment!

Cuddlepie has a little girl's birthday party tomorrow and she loves her play kitchen. So i have just finished making her an apron, some fabric tea bags and some needle felted sweet treats. (see here for a post about the sewing side of this gift).

I think the birthday girl will like these! I am having so much fun making them. I only made flat biscuit shapes as they are quicker, but I am itching to try cupcakes and slices of pie. I may have more to show next week.

I also made this little Dude Doll from Jane Bull's book, Stitch By Stitch. The book is actually designed to teach children crafts, but I have made several projects from it. They are great as quick and easy gifts. This is for Cuddlepie.

He is made from a white 10 ply from Bendigo Woollen Mills, which I dyed using Landscape Dyes. Landscape Dyes are an Australian company and I just love their colours. The skin I tea dyed lightly.

Looking forward to seeing other projects at Wisdom Begins In Wonder for Fibre Arts FridayHard Knit Life for Freshly Finished Friday and Natural Suburbia for Creative Friday.

    1. Thanks so much! And thanks for saying the pictures are good. Everyone else's always look so beautiful and I just don't seem to have the knack of artistically arranging things for photos!

    1. I got the basic pattern ideas from a book called Feltlicious. It is great! It also has fruit and veggies, breakfast, diner food. I just want to make everything, so there will definitely be some more coming!
