Thankful Thursday

This week, I have been thankful for:

A beautiful, sunny day before the rain set in again, which allowed me to wash and dry on the line all the sheets, blankets, mattress protectors and quilts. This will be the last time before winter begins in earnest that I will be able to wash the heavy bedding.

Our new NBN connection! So much internet download, so fast, so exciting! I may never use up all our monthly download and be slowed down ever again!

Proteas in flower at the moment. There is not much in flower in my garden, so it is lovely to have two protea bushes.

A freezer full of beef. It is such a sense of security to know that you have meat produced on your own farm.

Very special Mothers' Day gifts, presented at last Friday's Mother's Night at the school.

And so very thankful that I have the opportunity to be a stay at home mum and homemaker.

  1. Love reading about your blessings and join you in giving praise for pretty much each of the same in my own life! We just used our last roast, and while we don't raise it here on our land, we do buy from a friend who raises it for us. Praise HIM from whom all blessings flow!

    1. Praise Him indeed! It is wonderful to have farm raised meat and once I get my garden in, lots of veggies and fruit grown at home as well.
